After the first periodical plan was made, it was not possible to see much about its implementation status. The second periodic plan was made in a hurry and the sectoral goals were not determined, so there is a need to make something contemporary.

We have already decided to 'set targets' for the policies of the ministries and other sectors in the province from the full meeting of the Policy and Planning Commission. Now we will move on. After determining the policy, it will be decided where we are now and where we will be in 5 years. This is what periodic planning means. We will determine this 'target' within the next one/one and a half months . Now the commission is not even completed.

Chitwan has progressed as a medical hub. Again we call Chitwan the '78th' district . Only the policy rules made by the province cannot address it . Therefore, it can be addressed if the policy is made in a way that does not conflict with the federal law and goes along with the federal vision.

Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences is in Hetaunda. This should be done in consultation with the related persons of the college and the institutions under the federal ministries should be made a law under the federal ministry. Also, we will discuss what kind of laws should be made for the organizations operating under the province.

(Vice Chairman of Policy and Planning Commission of Wagmati Province, Dr. Gangadat Nepal, in the third session of 'Chitwan Chintan') discussed the topic of 'Investment in Education and Health: Chinari of Chitwan')
