An electric EV manufactured by SRM Company and imported from China went missing along with its driver after it fell into the Bhote Koshi on Saturday evening. According to Rasuwa Assistant Chief District Officer Dhruva Prasad Adhikari, the missing person along with the vehicle is 22-year-old Sabin Tamang, a resident of Kalika Rural Municipality–3, Rasuwa District.
Assistant Chief District Officer Adhikari stated that the vehicle fell into the Bhote Koshi near the Chilime Hydropower Center, south of Syafrubesi in Gosainkunda Rural Municipality–5, while it was being brought to Kathmandu after customs clearance.
Upon receiving information about the incident, security agencies including the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force were mobilized for search and rescue operations, and Assistant Chief District Officer Adhikari also said that the search is being carried out intensively despite the geographical difficulties.
