One person has gone missing after being swept away by the flood in the Sipring Khola in Gaurishankar Rural Municipality-9 of Dolakha. Four people who fled after the flood are trapped in a cliff. Gaurishankar-9 Chairman Nimgeli Sherpa said that Chasman Tamang went missing after being swept away by the flood in Mulkharka, the dam site of the Sipring Khola Hydropower on Tuesday night. He said that the Tamang, who had reached Mulkharka with a cow, was swept away by the flood along with the cow. According to him, four employees of Sipring Khola Hydropower who fled after the flood and were staying in a cave are trapped in a cliff. They got trapped in a cliff after the flood and landslide washed away the road to and from the area. The Sherpa said that they were hoping to be rescued in a cave on the cliff as landslides with mud continued to occur.
Police have said that the Nepal Army, Armed Forces and Nepal Police have been mobilized in the area to rescue them.
