The very dilapidated iron bridge at Chisapani, connected to Bhimphedi Bazaar, has started operating since Sunday after being repaired. Navin Singh, Chief of the Bagmati Province Transport Infrastructure Directorate, Hetauda, said that the repair work was possible in a week as they worked 24 hours a day in the water. The bridge repair work was started on Asad 27. While the repair work was being done on the bridge, people were coming and going through the diversion constructed in the river.
The iron bars of the unused iron trust bridge on the Bhainse-Bhimphedi road section were removed and laid on the bridge at Chisapani.
