Bagmati Province Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya has decided to reduce the number of ministries in the province and has assigned responsibilities to 6 ministers without portfolios for various thematic ministries.

Chief Minister Baniya has assigned Minister Binu Rayamajhi Poudel to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Law and Cooperatives for Cooperatives, Jayaram Thapa to the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Labor and Transport for Labor, Employment and Transport.

Similarly, Suresh Shrestha has been assigned to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Kiran Thapa Magar to the Ministry of Health and Social Development for Health, Urmila Nepal to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Bharat Bahadur KC to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Forest and Environment for Forest and Environment.
