Vehicles travelling on the short-distance alternative route from Hetauda to Kathmandu and the Tribhuvan Highway to Kathmandu will be held in Hetauda from Tuesday evening to Wednesday morning.

The District Administration Office, Makawanpur, has issued a notice that vehicles travelling to Kathmandu will be stopped in Hetauda from 6:30 pm on Tuesday to 5 am on Wednesday due to the high risk of floods and landslides.

According to Makawanpur District Administrative Office Basanta Adhikari, the Bagjhora, Bhimphediko bridge and Simkhola areas are at high risk of floods and landslides, so vehicles will be stopped on the short-distance route entering the capital and the Tribhuvan Highway at night.

Due to the high risk of floods and landslides, vehicles were stopped on these routes from 5 pm on Monday to 5 am on Tuesday.
