Landslides have occurred at two places on the Narayangadh-Muglin road in Chitwan, where heavy rain has continued since afternoon.
The Chitwan District Police Office has stated that a landslide occurred in the Tuin River at 7:25 pm on Monday and the Narayangadh-Muglin road was blocked in both directions. Chitwan District Police Office spokesperson DSP Chandra Bhusan Yadav said that the Narayangadh-Muglin route has been temporarily closed. Bharatpur Division Road Office has also stated that a landslide occurred at Setidobhan on the Narayangadh-Muglin road, blocking the road. The office has requested people to stay safe as the road is blocked by the landslide and the rain is continuing.
