The accused who escaped from Nakkhu prison during the Gen-G movement has been arrested from Bakaiya rural municipality of Makawanpur.
Makawanpur police arrested Suklal Waiba, 39, of Jyamire, Bakaiya rural municipality-6, Makawanpur on Tuesday. Waiba, who is serving a 20-year sentence in a drug trafficking case, was arrested by a police team deployed from the Area Police Office Phaparbari from Bakaiya rural municipality-4, Jureli Bazaar, said Madhav Prasad Kafle, Deputy Superintendent of Police and spokesperson of the District Police Office, Makawanpur.
Waiba had escaped from Nakkhu prison during the Gen-G movement on Bhadra 24. The arrested Waiba has been sent to Bhimphedi prison for necessary legal action, according to the police.
