Bahrabise Municipality has made public a budget of Rs 748.5 million through its 19th municipal assembly held on Tuesday. According to Mayor Balkrishna Basnet, the budget includes programs such as providing teachers for teaching Bhota Bhasha (Sambhota script), free midday meal up to grade 10, operating an agricultural ambulance, establishing an agricultural produce sales room and a moisture center, and increasing the incentive allowance for women health volunteers.
Tripurasundari Rural Municipality has passed a budget of Rs 508.4 million 11 thousand from its 21st village assembly held on Wednesday. Rural Municipality Chairman Bhakta Dhawaj Bohora said that free education, midday meal up to grade 8 and the 'Save Mothers' campaign have been continued.

Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality presented its policy, program and budget through the 17th village assembly on Friday. According to the vice-chairman of the rural municipality, Dichen Sherpa, priority has been given to free education, expansion of health services and monsoon-related disaster reduction programs.
Balefi Rural Municipality has passed a budget of Rs 598.538 crore from the 19th village assembly. The village assembly was held along with the inauguration of the newly constructed administrative building of the rural municipality.

Postponed in Melamchi
The municipal assembly of Melamchi Municipality has been postponed due to failure to reach an agreement on budget distribution. In the municipal assembly meeting held on Wednesday, the assembly could not proceed as per the scheduled agenda after the elected people's representatives from UML boycotted the meeting, expressing dissatisfaction with the budget distribution.
The municipality has announced that the next municipal assembly meeting has been scheduled for Asad 17. The municipality has stated that preparations are underway to resolve the budget allocation dispute and pass the policies, programs and budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
