A young man has died after being electrocuted while fishing in a river. Kumar Lopchan, 37, of Sukaura, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-18, died after being electrocuted while fishing in the Sukaura River.
He died on the spot after being electrocuted while fishing in the Sukaura River after being connected to electricity from a shed near the river. On Tuesday afternoon, while returning home from working in the village, he electrocuted himself while trying to fish, said Hiraman Prasad Yadav, Assistant Inspector of Police of Thulo Damar, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-18.
His body was brought to Hetauda Hospital for postmortem on Wednesday. Fishing is done by electrocuting in various rivers of Makawanpur.
