Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City has presented a budget of Rs 2.585 billion for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/084.

In the 19th Municipal Assembly, Deputy Mayor Rajesh Baniya stated that internal resources, revenue sharing, and grants from the federal and provincial governments have been taken as the main sources for budget implementation. 

According to the budget, it is estimated that Rs 573.68 billion will be spent from internal resources, Rs 912.48 billion from revenue sharing, Rs 101.72 billion from various grants from the provincial government, and Rs 1.184 billion from federal government grants.

The sub-metropolitan city has allocated Rs 671.9 million for infrastructure, Rs 484 million for ward-level plans and programs.

The budget has been allocated Rs 103.6 million for economic development, Rs 841.5 million for social development, Rs 140 million for public health, and Rs 140 million for youth and sports.

The Sub-Metropolitan City has stated that the budget presented in the Municipal Assembly has set the basis for resource management necessary for the implementation of policies and programs for the coming year.
