The Bagmati Province Government has presented a total budget of Rs 66.9333333 for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/084.

On Monday, Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Prabhat Tamang in the Provincial Assembly allocated Rs 22.96113000, or 34.31 percent of the total budget, for the current budget. The capital budget is 65.69 percent, or 43.97113000.

Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Tamang said that among the sources to meet the expenditure, Rs 30.15668 will be received from tax revenue, Rs 7.739912000 from other revenue, and Rs 15.314800 from federal financial transfer.

Similarly, Minister Tamang has presented to the House the details of the estimated savings and miscellaneous receipts of the current fiscal year's consolidated fund of Rs 12.76 billion and Rs 960 million. He estimated that the remaining amount of Rs 960 million will be received from the repayment of loans and investments from other institutions.
