Namobuddha bus accident: 6 of the deceased identified

Police have stated that six people have been identified so far, while two others are yet to be identified, among those killed in the bus accident that occurred at around 2 pm on Friday in Buchchakot, Namobuddha Municipality-2, Kavrepalanchok.

Six people have been identified so far among the dead in the bus accident that took place at around 2 pm on Friday in Buchchakot in Namobuddha Municipality-2, Kavrepalanchok, while two others are yet to be identified, police said.

According to Chief Superintendent of Police Rabin Karki of the District Police Office, the deceased in the bus accident (Ba 3 Kha 8398) heading towards Sughure in Roshi Rural Municipality Ward No. 6 from Banepa are Megh Bahadur Tamang, 45, Phulmaya Tamang, 34, and Indra Bahadur Tamang, 75, of Roshi Rural Municipality-6. Similarly, 60-year-old Pyarimaya Tamang of Roshi Rural Municipality-8 has also been identified, he said.

According to him, 30-year-old Bam Bahadur Bhandari, a resident of Dailekh, has also been identified among the dead in the accident. He said that he is a Nepali Army officer working in the Trinetra Dal Battalion in Bhakundebensi. Police have also identified 22-year-old Sumi Tamang of Ghyanglek Rural Municipality-4 in Sindhuli.  According to police, the other two people who died in the accident have not been identified yet. They are a man and a woman, aged approximately 60 to 65, according to the District Police Office, Kavre.
