Four rural municipalities in Makawanpur have been declared fully vaccinated and sustainable rural municipalities.

On Thursday, Makawanpurgadhi and Bagmati rural municipalities were declared fully vaccinated and sustainable rural municipalities. On Wednesday, Indrasarobar and Bhimphedi rural municipalities were declared fully vaccinated and sustainable rural municipalities.

In Makawanpurgadhi rural municipality, 362 children aged from birth to 15 months and 233 children aged from 16 to 23 months have been vaccinated. In Bagmati rural municipality, 345 children aged from birth to 15 months and 298 children aged from 16 to 23 months have received regular vaccinations, while 12 exempted children have also received all the vaccinations, according to the Public Health Office, Makawanpur.

This announcement was made after it was confirmed that all children aged from 16 to 23 months in the rural municipality have received the full vaccination schedule prescribed by the government. According to Basudev Rimal, Public Health Inspector at the Public Health Office, Makawanpur,  A municipality is declared fully vaccinated only after completing various stages of monitoring and certification processes . 

Other local levels of Makawanpur are also in the process of gradually declaring . Three local levels including Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City, Manahari Rural Municipality and Thaha Municipality have completed the certification process and are ready for the declaration . Public Health Inspector Rimal informed that certification is in the process of certification in Raksirang, Bakaiya and Kailash Rural Municipality . 

According to the data of the Public Health Office, 182 children aged from birth to 15 months and 94 children aged from 16 months to 23 months have received full vaccination in Indrasarobar Rural Municipality . Similarly, 300 children aged from birth to 15 months and 229 children aged from 16 to 23 months have received vaccination in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality . One person who was previously exempted from full vaccination in Bhimphedi has also been brought under the scope of vaccination . Volunteers were honored on this occasion.
