A man living behind the Nepali Army barracks on Chaling Road in Bhaktapur has killed his wife by stabbing her with a khukuri.
Police have said that his 8-year-old son was injured in a similar incident. Bidur Bishwakarma, 38, who lived in a rented room behind the Kharipati Army Barracks in Shankarapur Municipality-6, Kathmandu, stabbed his 33-year-old wife Salina Tolange Bishwakarma with a khukuri in their own house on Thursday morning over a domestic dispute, said Prakash Javegu, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Information Officer of the Bhaktapur Police Range.
His eight-year-old son Trishal Bishwakarma was also injured in the incident by stabbing her with a khukuri. Police have arrested Bishwakarma, who was the one who stabbed her with a khukuri, and are investigating, Javegu said.
