This year, Kantipur journalist Kedar Shiwakoti has been honored with the Late Rabindra Gautam Memorial Journalism Award. Shiwakoti was honored with the journalism award that the foundation has been giving every year in memory of the late journalist Gautam on Saturday in Charikot.
Similarly, the education scholarship of Rs. 10,000 that the foundation has been giving every year has been given to Bipana Nepali, a student studying in the science faculty at Kalinchowk Secondary School, said the foundation's president Krishna Bahadur Gautam.
The late Gautam, who was a journalist from Dolakha, died of COVID-19 on 16 Jestha 2078. The foundation, which was opened in his name, has been giving honors to one journalist and scholarships to students every year.
