A young man has been killed in a knife attack in Bharatpur. Ashish Khanal, aged around 30, who was seriously injured in a knife attack on Tuesday night at around 12:45 am, died during treatment.
According to the details received from the Chitwan District Police Office, the incident took place in Buddha Chowk, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-7. The deceased Khanal worked at the Sambhav Auto Shop in Buddha Chowk. ‘Khanal, who was seriously injured due to the knife attack, was sent to the Bharatpur government hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared him dead at 12:20 am,’ said DSP Rabindra Khanal, spokesperson for the Chitwan District Police Office.
The identity of the person who stabbed him has not been revealed. DSP Khanal said that a search is underway for those involved in the incident.
