While digging a track on the Mid-Hill Highway in Chaurideurali-7, Tadigaun, a landslide occurred around 3 pm on Tuesday, burying the excavator (Ba 2 Ka 2792) and the driver, 41-year-old Dilip Smalli of Paurahi-3, Rautahat, died on the spot.
Driver Smalli died after being trapped inside the cabin of the excavator, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabin Bista, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Kavre.
