The match schedule for the eighth edition of the Bagmati Gold Cup National Football Tournament, which will be held in Bagmati Rural Municipality of Makawanpur from Thursday, has been made public. The tournament organizers made the match schedule public at a press conference held on Tuesday.

The tournament opening match will be between the organizers, Bagmati Sports Development Committee, and Bagmati Youth Club of Sarlahi. The match will be held at the Shahid Smriti Stadium in Bagmati-4 at 3:30 pm on Thursday.

On April 18, Tribhuvan Army Club, Kathmandu, will face off against the Nava Janajagruti Club of Bara, on April 19, Departmental Armed Police Force's APF and Chitlang FC, Kathmandu, and on April 20, Church Boys of Lalitpur, who received a bye, will compete against the organizers and Bagmati Youth Club.

On 21 Baisakh, Friends Club of Lalitpur and Planning Boys United, Machhindra Club of Kathmandu, which received a bye on 22 Baisakh, will play the winner of APF and Chitlang. The semi-final matches of the tournament will be held on 23 and 24 Baisakh, while the final match will be held on 26 Baisakh. 10 teams including the organizer will participate in the tournament.

The winner of the tournament will receive 1 million rupees and the runner-up will receive 5 million rupees as a prize. The best player of the tournament will receive 101 thousand rupees, the best players in each category will receive 25-25 thousand, and the man of the match players of each match will receive 10-10 thousand.
