After the BP Highway was blocked by floods due to the diversion, public vehicles leaving from the east have used the Pushpalal route to reach Kathmandu. The District Traffic Police Office, Dolakha, has stated that the traffic pressure on the Pushpalal route has increased since Sunday morning.
Vehicles leaving from Okhaldhunga, Solukhumbu, Ramechhap and other districts have used the Pushpalal route as an alternative. Earlier, when the BP Highway was blocked due to floods and landslides, vehicles from that region used the Araniko Highway via Pushpalal.
Small and large vehicles leaving from Koshi and Madhesh provinces have increased their route to the capital via Bardibas-Sindhuli-Khurkot-Manthali-Charikot, according to the Traffic Police.
