Nepal Volunteer Blood Donor Society President Premsagar Karmacharya donated blood for the 186th time on Saturday.

Karmacharya broke his record of donating blood for the 185th time and donated blood for the 186th time at a blood donation program organized in the courtyard of Palchoki Bhagwati Temple, a religious and tourist destination located in Helambu Rural Municipality-3, Sindhupalchowk. 

Karmacharya said that he has been donating blood in various districts with the aim of awakening the youth's sense of the need to donate blood to save human lives. 

Expressing dissatisfaction with the government charging a fee for donated blood, Karmacharya said that he will now appeal to the new government that the donated blood should be given free of cost to the patients. 

17 people, both men and women, donated blood at the program. 

Karmacharya said that on Saturday itself, the Sindhupalchowk District Ad-hoc Working Committee of the Nepal Volunteer Blood Donor Society was formed under the chairmanship of Dhan Bahadur Pandey, a lifelong member of the Nepal Volunteer Blood Donor Society.
