A fire started near a shed to chase away rats in Bhorle, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-15 has caused major damage.  The fire completely destroyed the wooden and zinc shed of a local farmer, Sanukaji Syangbo.

According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, a fire broke out on Thursday evening at around 19:15 in which one cow was injured and 10 goats died.  The initial estimate of the damage caused by the fire is around 150,000 rupees. 

As soon as the information about the incident was received, a police team under the command of Police Assistant Inspector Gauri Shankar Sah from Police Post Ratomate immediately reached the spot.  With the help of fire brigade and local residents, the fire was completely brought under control at around 19:40. 

According to the police, the initial investigation revealed that the fire broke out when a fire set to drive away rats spread uncontrollably. The incident site is located about 4 kilometers east of Ratomate Police Station, Makwanpur.
