Kanti Lokpath was blocked due to a landslide on the road around 1 pm on Saturday. Police Assistant Inspector Gyan Bahadur Rai of the Area Police Office, Thingan said that since it is raining and the landslide has not stopped, traffic cannot be resumed immediately. He said that coordination is being done to remove the landslide.
Vehicles going from Hetauda to Kathmandu have been stopped in Thingan and vehicles coming from Kathmandu to Hetauda have been stopped near the Bagmati Bridge due to the landslide.
Landslides occur on the approximately 7-kilometer road from Thingan to Bagmati Bridge section of Kanti Lokpath immediately after it rains.
