A worker has died after being swept away by the Roshi River in Kamidanda, Ward No. 7, Roshi Rural Municipality, Kavre, due to heavy rains since Friday afternoon, informed Chief Superintendent of Police Komal Shah of the District Police Office, Kavre.

According to him, the deceased has been identified as Kursang Tamang, aged around 40, of Ward No. 7, Roshi Rural Municipality. Superintendent of Police Shah said that he was a worker working on the reconstruction of the BP Highway. 

According to him, information was received that he was found dead after being swept away by the Roshi River at around 9 pm on Friday night. He said that detailed details about the incident are yet to be released.
