With the aim of helping in the production, diversification and marketing of agricultural produce, the Makawanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry has organized a Bagmati Province-level agricultural exhibition fair in Hetauda from Friday. The association has informed that the preparations for the fair have reached the final stage.

According to the association's president, Pramod Singh Ranabhat, they are going to hold a four-day province-level agricultural exhibition fair. He said that the exhibition fair is going to be held to boost the morale of farmers and attract young people to agriculture.
The exhibition, which is going to be organized in the premises of Palpasa Assembly Hall, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-2, will have 40 stalls of farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs from Sindhuli, Ramechhap, Kavre, Kathmandu, Chitwan and Makawanpur.

The four-day fair will feature millet, sorghum flour, fenugreek flour, and nuts and honey. Similarly, the association has stated that spices, bamboo glasses, thermoses, banana chips, yams, potatoes, gunduk, mushrooms, fish and clothes made from garlic will also be on sale at the fair.

The association has also made arrangements for free stalls at the exhibition fair and food and accommodation for farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs who come to set up stalls.  The Bagmati Province government has provided Rs. 500,000 through the Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City for the agricultural exhibition, which is being organized with an investment of about Rs. 600,000. Association President Ranabhat said that there will be no entry fee for the agricultural exhibition fair.
