The cold has increased in the highlands after snowfall along with rain in Dolakha. Normal life has been affected due to thick fog since Saturday morning.

After snowfall in Kalinchowk, the main tourist destination of Dolakha, the number of domestic tourists has increased. Similarly,  Since there has been snowfall in Shailung, the number of tourists in that area has also increased, so hoteliers are excited.

Snowfall in the high mountainous regions of Dolakha, farmers are happy With the start of the season, the tourist villages  Beding and Nama have been affected after heavy snowfall in that area. Farmers who planted potatoes, the main cash crop, in the upper areas are happy as they have received moisture due to snowfall and rain.

Similarly, farmers who were ready to sow maize are also happy that moisture has entered their fields. After continuous snowfall,  Locals of Lapchi, Bigu Rural Municipality-1, Dolakha have not been able to take Lapchi yak chawri from Lumnang.

To escape the cold, the Lapchi residents who descend from Lumnang climb Lapchi by taking yak sleds from Chaitra.
