Three hours after the start of voting, around 20 percent of the votes have been cast in Chitwan.
District Election Officer Bhimsen Karki of the Chitwan District Election Office informed that 20 percent of the votes have been cast by 10 am. Voting is open until 5 pm.
There are 442,082 voters in Chitwan, which has 3 constituencies. There are 492 polling stations in 162 polling stations across the district. Karki said that voting is taking place peacefully in all the centers.
