A scooter driver died after a bus and a scooter collided in Hirapani, Kamalamai Municipality-4, Sindhuli along the BP Highway on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Chandra Shrestha, 35, a resident of Bitijor, Golanjor Rural Municipality-2, and currently residing in Dhurashiran, Kamalamai Municipality-6.
The bus (Ba 4 Kha 3894) going from Kathmandu to Marin, Sindhuli, collided with a scooter (Ja 10 Pa 923) going to a tea plantation to cut grass. The police have taken the bus driver, Rajkumar Majhi of Hariharpurgadhi-5, into custody and necessary action has been taken.
