Makawanpur Police have arrested two people with loaded guns from Thaha Municipality-4, Dharapani, Makawanpur. The police have arrested Kumar Rayamajhi, 54, and Bikram Rayamajhi, 27, from Thaha Municipality-4 with loaded guns. According to the Area Police Office, Palung, a gun, ammunition, and iron pellets were found during a search of Kumar Rayamajhi's house. After Kumar told the police that Bikram Rayamajhi had the gun, the police also arrested Bikram Rayamajhi. Kumar is Bikram's grandfather. Police recovered a loaded gun, ammunition kept in small packages, iron pellets, and a match with a piece of ammunition removed from Kumar's house, said Ruksha Bajracharya, Police Inspector of Palung, IPR. Rayamajhi, who was arrested, told the police that he had kept the gun and ammunition to chase away monkeys. The police have charged both the arrested people with weapons and ammunition.
