A new equation has emerged in the election scenario of the House of Representatives Constituency No. 2 of the district. Ganesh Prasad Adhikari of Kavre-2, who was in the fray as an independent candidate, has joined the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP). He has joined the party by announcing his support for the RSWP candidate from the same constituency, Badan Bhandari.

A written agreement has been reached between Adhikari and Bhandari. According to the agreement, priority will be given to the overall infrastructure development of the district. The agreement mentions the expansion of the road network, strengthening the health and education sectors, creating employment opportunities, and ensuring access to clean drinking water.

The agreement also includes a plan to increase the income of farmers through entrepreneurship development targeting youth, creating opportunities at the local level, agricultural modernization, and protecting local products. It also mentions the establishment of a transparent and accountable governance system by adopting a zero tolerance policy against corruption.
