One person has died after being struck by lightning in Mulpani, Tripurasundari-3, Dhading. Two others have been injured.
Police have said that 12-year-old Dilisha Gharti Magar, a resident of Bunkot, Shaheed Lakhan-8, has died. 13-year-old Diksha Gharti Magar, a resident of Bunkot, Shaheed Lakhan-8, and 24-year-old Birendra Thapa Magar, a resident of Bhimsen Thapa-6, have been injured.
The injured are being treated at Arughat Basic Hospital in Gorkha. They had gone to their uncle's house for worship in Tripurasundari-3, Dhading.
Police have said that the incident took place at around 4:30 pm on Tuesday after being struck by lightning.
