An argument between Nepali and Chinese workers on Monday over the dismissal of workers and drivers at a processing plant under construction for exporting beef to China turned into a clash.

The injured in the clash include Nawaraj Bomjan, a light vehicle driver from Marin-6, Gokarna Katuwal of Udayapur, and Chinese citizens Yang, Yang Haibo, Qianqing Chong, and Leuseni Chuzhen. Himalayan Food Company is constructing a meat processing center.

According to police spokesperson and DSP Suryak Subedi, six of the injured are being treated at a local health center and one at Sindhuli Hospital. Police have been mobilized to prevent further incidents. According to local Basu Mainali, the situation of clashes could arise again, but this has not happened despite the fact that the company should have coordinated with the responsible person and the locals.
