A woman has died in Gorsyang, Tarakeswar Rural Municipality-5, in the district after she got stuck in a bone while eating meat at a feast.
Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office, Bikram Lama, informed that 41-year-old Gangamaya Tamang died today at Trishuli Hospital after getting a bone stuck in her throat.
According to him, Tamang, who had gone to a relative's house to celebrate the Lhosar festival, got a bone stuck in her throat while eating chicken meat with the meal on Saturday. She died during treatment after being taken to the hospital for treatment, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Lama.
Tamang, who currently lives in Swayambhu, Kathmandu, had come to her sister's house in Tarakeswar-5 Gorsyang only this Friday to celebrate the Lhosar festival.
