A person who was seriously injured in a collision between a mini truck and a motorcycle at Chhahari Chowk, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-16 on Friday evening has died during treatment.
According to the details received from the Chitwan District Police Office, Kul Bahadur Magar, 28, of Bharatpur-16, died in the accident.
Chitwan District Police Office spokesperson DSP Rabindra Khanal said that the motorcycle (Na 31 Pa 2114) driven by Kul Bahadur collided with a mini truck (Na 6 Kha 6316) at 6:30 pm yesterday. Kul Bahadur, who was seriously injured in the collision, was undergoing treatment at the Chitwan Medical College Teaching Hospital in Bharatpur.
Kul Bahadur died at 1:51 am during treatment, DSP Khanal said. Police have taken the truck driver, 52-year-old Ammar Thapa of Ramnagar, Bharatpur-1, under control.
