Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has said that the election of members of the House of Representatives will be held across the country on the scheduled date in a free, fair and rigged manner.

He made the remarks while visiting the offices of the Chief Electoral Officers on Saturday during an on-site inspection of the election preparations scheduled for the upcoming Falgun 21 in Nuwakot and Dhading districts. He said, "We are fully committed to conducting the elections in a clean, impartial and fraud-free manner, and you have already realized that from our conduct and behavior, and we will continue to do so." He also urged all parties concerned to be aware of the false and misleading information currently circulating in the elections and start preparing for their respective elections.  

After watching the presentation on election preparations presented by the Chief Electoral Officer of Nuwakot, Komal Prasad Acharya, Home Minister Aryal directed the concerned officials to make reliable security arrangements for the upcoming House of Representatives elections in the district and conduct the elections in a clean, impartial and fear-free environment, informed Anand Kafle, spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Chief of the Security and Coordination Division, who is part of the inspection team.  

During the inspection, Chief Election Officer Komal Prasad Acharya informed the team about the preparations made by the office so far. The meeting was also attended by District Election Officers of both constituencies of the district and officials of all security agencies in the district.

Giving information after the inspection visit, Ministry Spokesperson Kafle said that the preparations for the district elections have been progressing effectively in Nuwakot and Dhading districts so far with good coordination between the District Election Officers and Chief Election Officers.

Today, the same team including Home Minister Aryal reached Dhading from Nuwakot and took information about the overall security situation and election preparations there from the officials of the District Security Committee, Chief Election Officer and District Election Officers. The team also inspected the election-related arrangements that have arrived in the district. 

The team includes Home Secretary Rajkumar Shrestha, Security and Coordination Division Chief Ananda Kafle, National Investigation Department Chief Tekendra Karki and members of Home Minister Aryal's secretariat.
