A motorcyclist has died after a bus and a motorcycle collided in Lamidanda, Panchkhal Municipality-4.

According to Police Station Panchkhal Chief Inspector Prashant Tamang, the deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Sushil Ale Magar, a motorcyclist from Jugal Rural Municipality Ward No. 5 in Sindhupalchowk district.

On Wednesday at 2:40 pm,  on the Dhulikhel-Dolalghat road section along the Araniko Highway located in Lamidanda, Panchkhal Municipality Ward No. 4 in Kavrepalanchowk  district, a motorcycle (Ba.Pr.02-030 Pa 8013) heading from Dhulikhel to Dolalghat and a bus (Ba 3 Kha 843) coming from Bahrabise to Kathmandu collided head-on, leaving the motorcyclist seriously injured.

The seriously injured Magar was taken to Dhulikhel Hospital for treatment and was declared dead by the hospital at 3:40 pm. He informed that the police have taken the bus driver into custody and necessary investigations are underway into the incident.
