Kantipur journalist Poshanath Adhikari has been awarded. Adhikari, Dhading correspondent of Kantipur Media Group, has been awarded the Sitaram Verma Memorial Health Journalism Award.

Adhikari was awarded the award established by the Dhading branch in memory of the founding president of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Dhading branch.

Verma, who had been active in journalism for nearly 4 decades, passed away due to COVID-19 infection. After Verma's death, the Sitaram Verma Memorial Health Journalism Award was established with the financial support of Nilkantha Municipality. The Dhading branch of the federation has been presenting this award to one journalist every year.

The branch today also awarded the Rajendra Pratap Shah Memorial Journalism Award to Keshav Adhikari, the Bikash Journalism Award to Rajan Adhikari, and the Shalikram Verma Memorial Journalism Award to Ram Bahadur Thakuri 'Ashish'.
