The District Police Office, Makawanpur, has informed that they were taken into custody during searches at various places in the district on Magh 16 and 17.
Police have recovered 1 gram 780 milligrams of a powdery substance resembling brown heroin and 200 capsules of Tramadol from the possession of the arrested persons.
According to the police, 850 milligrams of a substance resembling brown heroin was found from the possession of 23-year-old Janak Ghalan and 22-year-old Sudip Sharma of Manahari Rural Municipality-3. Similarly, 760 milligrams of a substance resembling brown heroin was recovered from the possession of 24-year-old Sushil Gole of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-12. 200 capsules of Tramadol were found from the possession of 24-year-old Shree Krishna BK of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-11.
Similarly, 50 milligrams of a substance that looks like brown heroin has been recovered from the possession of 18-year-old Enos Magar of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-1. Similarly, 120 milligrams of a substance that looks like brown heroin has been found from the possession of 21-year-old Parina Magar of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-3 and a girl. Further investigation is underway by obtaining permission to extend the remand of the arrested persons from the Makawanpur District Court, Hetauda.
