The required number of election police officers has been reached only after the second extension of the deadline in Makawanpur. The deadline for applications was extended for the second time after the number of election police officers specified for Makawanpur was insufficient.

Deputy Superintendent of Police and Spokesperson of the District Police Office Makawanpur, Pushkar Bogati, said that the applications received exceeded the demand for the second time and the results have been published after the selection process. He said that the selected election police officers will be given basic training from Magh 18 to Magh 27 and deployed in their work areas.

Makawanpur, which has 2 constituencies, has 167 polling stations and 374 polling stations. From a security perspective, 19 polling stations have been listed as highly sensitive. Out of the 10 local levels in the district, 6 polling stations in local levels have been listed as highly sensitive. The number of voters in Makawanpur is 315,334.
