The fire that broke out at the Mahashakti Soap (Soap) Company warehouse in Hetauda Industrial Area since Saturday night was brought under control at 9:30 am on Sunday.
Soap, plastic and chemicals stored in a tent made of zinc sheets have been destroyed by fire. The fire broke out at the warehouse of Mahashakti Shop Company, the oldest industry in the Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-8 industrial area, at 11:30 pm on Saturday. It is believed that the fire was caused by a short circuit in an electrical wire.

Deputy Superintendent of Police and spokesperson of the District Police Office Makawanpur, Pushkar Bogati, said that there was a delay in controlling the fire as there were soap, wrappers, cartoons and chemicals.
