Makawanpur police have arrested six people with 7 grams and 200 milligrams of brown heroin.

The District Police Office, Makawanpur, has informed that banned drugs were seized from their possession during routine searches at various places in the district on Saturday.

The police have taken the arrested persons with the seized drugs under control and are conducting further investigation after obtaining a remand from the Makawanpur District Court, Hetauda.

3 grams 750 milligrams of brown heroin have been found from 21-year-old Bikash Pariyar, a resident of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-2. Similarly, 3 grams of drugs have been seized from 21-year-old Binod Dhungana, a resident of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-4. Similarly, 250 milligrams of brown heroin have been found from 22-year-old Tshiring Lo, a resident of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-11, and 29-year-old Binod Raj Zimba, a resident of Sub-metropolitan City-19.

200 milligrams of drugs have been seized from 24-year-old Yoel Praja, a resident of Thule Gangate, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-17, and 29-year-old Prem Bahadur Praja, a resident of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-2. Further investigation is underway under the Narcotics Control Act regarding the incident.
