The deadline for submitting applications to the district election police for the House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21 has been extended by 2 days.

According to DSP Rabin Bista, Information Officer of the District Police Kavre, the deadline for applying for the election police has been extended by two days, namely Magh 10 and 11. Those interested in applying for the election police have been requested to contact the District Police Office, he said. 

According to him, out of the 2,269 election police officers required in Kavre for the election, 2,493 people applied. He said that 2,283 people participated in the physical, written and interview tests conducted as per the election schedule. ‘In addition to the applications received as per the election police requirement, they have also participated in the test,’ DSP Bista said, ‘Although it seems that the current number of election police officers in the district will be sufficient, if no one comes during the election tomorrow, or if someone decides not to participate, it seems that there will not be enough, so the deadline for applying has been extended.’ According to him, the deadline for applying has been extended as per the circular of the center.
