Adarsh Bhattarai alias Niraj, a 27-year-old resident of Basantapur, Manahari Rural Municipality-5, was seriously injured when he was electrocuted while working on an electrical transformer at around 2:00 pm on Thursday.
Bhattarai, who was brought to Hetauda Hospital for treatment, was declared dead by doctors at 2:45 pm, according to the District Police Office, Makawanpur. The police said that an investigation is underway into the incident. The incident site is located about 2 kilometers east of the Area Police Office, Hatiya.
