In the upcoming House of Representatives elections, other parties have been successful in fielding women and Dalit candidates in Sindhupalchowk compared to the main competing parties.
According to District Chief Election Officer Rita Kumari Bakhrel, 36 candidates, including 30 from 15 political parties and 6 independents, are in the election contest in the two constituencies. Four of them are women and one is from the Dalit community.
While there are no direct women or Dalit candidates from the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN and the National Independent Party, other parties have prioritized inclusion. Nepal Workers and Farmers Party has fielded 54-year-old Geeta Devi Karmakar in Constituency No. 1 and 29-year-old Mhendo Tamang in Constituency No. 2. Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal has fielded 34-year-old Pasang Sherpa in Constituency No. 1. Similarly, Rajan Sunchuri, a Dalit from Miteri Party Nepal, has become the candidate in Constituency No. 1. 
Meanwhile, the CPN, with Pushpa Kamal Dahal as the coordinator and Madhav Kumar Nepal as the co-coordinator, has fielded Bhagwati Nepal as the candidate for the proportional representation. According to the District Election Office, the total number of voters in Sindhupalchowk has reached 274,998. 338 polling stations have been designated in 146 polling stations in 143 wards of 12 local levels. According to the voter details, the number of female voters in the district is 131,696 and the number of male voters is 143,302.
