Kundan Raj Kafle, who resigned from the Nepali Congress provincial assembly to run for the House of Representatives, did not get a ticket to run for the House of Representatives.

He had resigned from the post of Provincial Assembly member to become a candidate for the House of Representatives from Dolakha on a ticket from the Nepali Congress. Although he resigned from the Provincial Assembly member to become a candidate for the House of Representatives, he could not get a ticket. After not getting a ticket from the Nepali Congress, he said on Tuesday morning, "The people had said they would vote for him, but the Nepali Congress did not give him a ticket. Decisions are not made according to the people's wishes here. I was forced to resign after the people of Dolakha demanded it.

In Dolakha, which has only one constituency, the Nepali Congress has fielded former journalist Ajay Babu Shiwakoti.
