The office of the Chief Electoral Officer will be located in Bharatpur, Constituency No. 2 in Chitwan, and the offices of the Electoral Officers for Constituencies No. 1 and 3 will be located in Khairhani and Rampur, respectively.

The office of the Chief Electoral Officer was established in Chitwan on Friday morning for the Falgun 21 elections.

In Chitwan, which has three constituencies, the office of the Chief Electoral Officer will be located in Bharatpur of Constituency No. 2, and the offices of the Electoral Officers of Constituencies No. 1 and 3 will be located in Khairhani and Rampur, respectively.

The office was inaugurated in the presence of Chitwan District Court Judge Kedarnath Poudel, who is the Chief Electoral Officer at the Industry and Commerce Office in Bharatpur, Chitwan Chief District Officer Ganesh Aryal, district chiefs of security agencies, district election officers and election officers of other constituencies.

The office of the Electoral Officer of Constituency No. 1  will be located in the Underground Water Resources and Irrigation Development Division Office in Khairhani. Bikash Rajak has been appointed as the Electoral Officer of Constituency No. 1.

The Electoral Officer of Constituency No. 3, which will be located in the Rampur Agriculture and Forestry University campus, is Balkrishna Niraula. 

According to the Election Commission's work schedule, the offices of the Chief Electoral Officer and Election Officers will be established across the country today. The commission has a work list for registering candidate nominations on Magh 6. According to Bhimsen Karki, the election officer of the District Election Office, the total number of voters in the district is 442,042.

He said that 33,740 voters have been added compared to the 2079 House of Representatives election. There are 149,621 voters in Chitwan's constituency number 1, 137,152 in constituency number 2, and 155,309 voters in constituency number 3. There are 494 polling stations in 162 polling stations in Chitwan.
