District Police Office Police Chief SP Surya Bahadur Khadka informed that preparations are underway to hold a written examination for the selection of election police on Magh 5. SP Khadka said that those who were previously temporary police officers will not have to take the written examination.
Applications for election police were opened in Bhaktapur from Poush 25 to Magh 1. The service period of election police will be 40 days.
