Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya handed over 30 motorcycles to Deputy Inspector General of Police Arun Poudel of the Provincial Police Office during a ceremony on Thursday.

The Provincial Police Office, Hetauda, ​​had purchased 30 TVS motorcycles with an amount of Rs 9.70 lakh provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of the province.

At the program, Chief Minister Baniya said that the motorcycles handed over would be easy in the elections to be held on Falgun 21. He said that the 30 motorcycles would also be important at a time when some police vehicles were destroyed due to the Gen-G movement.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Poudel said that the two-wheeled vehicles received would be handed over to police offices in various districts. He urged the provincial government to provide four-wheeled vehicles in the coming days.
