The eighth 'Nepal Agritech International Expo' is to be held in Bharatpur, Chitwan for the modernization of the agricultural sector. A large-scale international exhibition related to the agricultural sector is to be held at the Chitwan Exhibition Center, Bharatpur from Magh 2 to 4.
The expo, jointly organized by Media Space Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Futurex Trade Fair and Events, will feature more than 100 stalls from domestic and foreign companies, said Media Space Solutions Managing Director Srijal Bhattarai. New agricultural technologies produced in Nepal, India, and China will be exhibited at the exhibition.
The organizers have stated that detailed information on poultry farming, fisheries, goat farming, cattle and buffalo farming, dairy farming, agricultural tools and equipment, agricultural machinery, animal health and veterinary services, food technology and food testing can be obtained at the exhibition. Last year, this expo was organized in Kathmandu.
Managing Director Bhattarai said that farmers and businessmen from different parts of the country will participate in the expo. ‘We are coordinating with all local levels of the country, and we are making arrangements to bring farmers from all over the country to visit here,’ Bhattarai said.
