According to District Police Chief SP Komal Shah, a man's body was found in a burnt state in the building. He said that the body has been sent to Dhulikhel Hospital for a post-mortem. It is estimated that the body found in a burnt state could be from a day ago.
He informed that the body has not been identified yet. 'It seems that the person has been living in the same building for a few days,' he said, 'It seems that he used to cook and eat food at the scene of the incident. Initial investigation has shown that the person used to collect plastic on the road for a few days and cook and eat food in the building in the evening.'
According to him, some people had been living there for shelter before. The police had also been requesting them not to stay there.
